Welcome to Little Ones Child Care Learning Center

Little Ones Child Care Learning Center was established in 1999, we are licensed and credentialed at an Administrator level 1 through the Maryland State Department of Education and have achieved a level 3 Quality Rated Program status through Maryland Excels. 

 

We are located in Frederick County, Maryland. My in-home child Care provides a friendly, caring, fun, safe, loving, and nurturing environment. I have created an atmosphere where children are encouraged to explore, experiment, and socialize.

 

My curriculum centers on the philosophy that children learn by playing and in doing so experience, social, emotional, physical, and creative growth. I offer an atmosphere in which they are encouraged to try new things, stimulate their desire to take on new challenges and feel free to explore.

 

All children in attendance are invited to engage at their own developmental level.

Preschool actives to name a few include art, music, creative movement, and dramatic play. We build opportunities for developing reading readiness with alphabet and site word memorization. We also introduce colors, numbers, shapes, handwriting activities, as well as basic math skills to name a few. 

 

Children in my care will be given the guidance needed to learn knowledge and to grow through our meaningful ways of teaching. Children will be taught creative ways to explore, problem solve and to become independent.

 

Play is a child’s work.  It unlocks their imagination, enhances readiness, develops cognitive thinking, as well as further develops gross and fine motor skills through play children develop empathy, compassion, and trust.

Play overcomes language barriers, play allows children to learn to communicate emotions, be creative and solve problems. Sharing joy, laughter, and fun with others promotes bonding and strengthens a sense of community.
